What is Chinese herbal plaster therapy?
Chinese herbal plaster therapy uses traditional herbal formulas selected based on the specific area of pain, discomfort, or injury. The herbs are ground into a fine powder and mixed with water to create a thick herbal paste.
The paste is then applied onto a thin protective plastic layer to help keep the herbs moist, and placed over the targeted area for support. The plaster is secured using specific hypoallergenic 3M medical tape, helping it stay comfortably in place during the treatment period.
What areas can be supported?
Common areas include upper back, lower back, shoulder, neck, wrist, knee, head, muscles, ligaments, bones and joints.
Is this a replacement for medical care?
